Adrian De La Cruz
Safety Inspector
Adrian is an Inspector in Urban Waterproofing’s Safety Department, reporting to department head Neil Chapman. His duties include safety orientation for new hires, ladder and equipment training, project safety mapouts, and regular safety inspections for projects in progress.
Despite his youthful appearance, Adrian is an experienced pro. He worked for many years as a journeyman painter and has a hands-on understanding of the safety issues that field personnel face. The fact that Adrian is bilingual is a real bonus; that way, all safety aspects of a project, even detailed, technical ones, are clearly communicated and understood.
On weekends, Adrian keeps his painting skills sharp with the occasional side jobs, and his haircutting shears even sharper, maintaining a very busy schedule cutting hair. As if that wasn’t enough, Adrian sometimes ditches all of that and tears up the Hollister hills on his YZ dirt bike with family and friends.
