Parking garages are significant
investments that require care and maintenance. Each Parking

Essentially porous, concrete parking decks absorb water,
which migrates through the top of the slab through the bottom.
leaving chloride deposits underneath, commonly called "efflourescence".
Long term exposure to moisture can eventually cause the
reinforcing steel in the slab to corrode, causing the concrete
to spall.
To prevent moisture from migrating through the slab, the
top surface is shotblasted the achieve profile and remove
contamintes, and then coated with typically a three coat
urethane coating system.
Elastomeric coatings systems are sustainable; designed to
be maintained over the life of the structure and not removed
and replaced. Neogard's Autogard II elastomeric coating
system has been known to last over 30 years with minimal
maintenance.
