Mike Urban
President / Project Management

Mike Urban joined with his brothers during high school to form the Urban Bros. Painting company. He then left behind a thriving painting business to attend the University of Southern California, where he graduated with honors, earning a degree in Accounting. Mike spent the next several years with the accounting firm, Ernst & Whinney, and while there, earned his license as a Certified Public Accountant.

In 1983, Mike returned to Urban Bros. Painting to help build and expand the business, growing a company that today employs over 100 painters, and is one of the most reputable commercial painting contractors in the Bay Area.

In 1996, Urban Bros. Painting, Inc. purchased an established waterproofing company, and created Urban Waterproofing. Mike was chosen to run the new company, where he now serves as president, oversees all corporate finances, and manages the larger, more complex projects. Mike’s professional goal is to make Urban Waterproofing the premier waterproofing company in the Bay Area, in the same manner as the Urban brother’s painting company.

Mike lives with his wife Julie, and two children in Mill Valley. He is an avid cyclist, and outdoors person.

Jeff lives with his wife and twin daughters in Sonoma, and he enjoys golf and skiing in his spare time.

Anna Villalobos
Project Consultant
Sales / Estimating

Anna has been in the waterproofing business for 15 years, recently joining Urban Waterproofing as an estimator and project consultant. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from UCSC, Anna began her waterproofing apprenticeship program with Local 81 in the Bay Area. Anna went on to earn her journeyman card, and spent eight years in the waterproofing trade.

She then went to work with McGinnis Chen, a waterproofing consultant. There, Anna spent seven years learning waterproofing from an architectural perspective. Her expertise with McGinnis Chen also involved contract specification and administration, as well as surveying and analyzing waterproofing aspects of both old and new construction.

Anna attended night school at CSUH while working, and earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration, with an emphasis in organizational development. Anna currently resides with her teenage son in Oakland, California.
